What’s the problem - well on my Tumblr dashboard I see the “Tumblr Radar” and it shows Mark Daniel’s photo on the ‘“Tovera” tumblr - but no “Mark Daniel” credit. Just a post from the “Tovera” tumblr - which happens to be a Mark Daniel photo.
I understand why there is no credit on the “Radar” - because it is showing the “Tovera” tumblr - “a collection of art & photography curated by Jade” which I found from the click thru link of the “Radar” - but still I saw the photo on the “Tumblr Radar” first and it read “Tovera” - not Mark Daniel.
When I saw the photo I remember thinking “I’ve seen that photo before and it’s not by “Tovera” or whoever that is..”
I understand there is a difference. But that’s a slight difference. The “Radar” makes it more confusing is what I’m saying.
It’s weird, I think. It cultivates an atmosphere where NOT crediting is sort of ok. Just my opinion.
Thankfully, correctly - “Tovera” credits Mark Daniel. I just think it’s weird that the “Tumblr Radar” further removes the original source.
All this mashing up is making my brain hurt.
