Found this absolutely beautiful children’s book from France in an antique store in VT… $125 so I had to leave it there, but I took a few crappy pictures to remember it by. It’s the work of Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel, a late 19th century/early 20th century illustrator. I don’t know much about him, I’m sure better read people than me recognize the band immediately. Here’s his wikipedia page for those me ignorant types, like me.
